Ideas are caked together from experience and it’s difficult to avoid the trap of an obvious solution when drawing from common inspiration.

I thought that the world needed infinite mobeus bacon and I was disappointed to find that it already existed.

I guess bacon isn’t the most monogamous of muses.

I’m glad I found those other infinite bacon pieces, they forced me to take my idea a step further and thinking about how to go a step further reminded me of infinity plus one.

The line “a bunch of people stole my idea before I even thought of it” is a great line. Perhaps even the story of my life.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo! Oh well, had a similar idea, I guess I’m late to the game. I miss the time before the widespread use of the internet, when ideas could be developed in isolation.

Chris, you should follow through with your idea, just make it distinct or take it in a different direction. I didn’t come up with the idea of bacon and the leap to infini-bacon isn’t that big, the challenge is bringing something new to the idea.

It’s a constant letdown to see that every idea I have already exists in some form or another on the internet but it’s also inspiring to see so many people taking good ideas and evolving them beyond the initial concept.
