Keyboards are instruments of change.

This morning I read that the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) had been re-introduced. I hope you’ll take a moment to read a bit about CISPA and think deeply about the level of access you want the government to have to your private communications.

I get most of my news on these things from Boing Boing and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF).

If there’s only one organization you give to this year, please consider the EFF, they’re way out on a distant front, fighting to protect your freedom, privacy, and access from two of our worst enemies, greed and stupidity.

Anyone who holds a keyboard has access to great power, go do wonderful things with it.

I would like to suggest a correction: the correct name is Electronic FRONTIER Foundation.

    Thank you for supporting them.
