The Big Bear and the Blueberry Moon

The Big Bear and the Blueberry Moon is about a bear who eats the moon. 

The story was written on a long walk under a starry night sky and it explores the relationship between one giant bear and his community. How does growth change our relationship and responsibility to community? How does being part of a community or being excluded from a community impact our inside the tummy feelings?

The story also includes many tiny fables along the way. Why does the moon have a bite out if it? Why do trees fall over in the forest? Why do tides run up the beach? Why are birds so sneaky?

...I guess this story doesn't really answer that last question. I'll have to write another book someday.
